Job summary

Noblis, Inc. seeks a Computer Engineer to support NUWC out of Newport, RI. The role centers on researching, designing, implementing, and testing computer hardware and software for naval platforms, with emphasis on submarines and networked systems.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in engineering or math, a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, and 7+ years in relevant design/development roles; familiarity with NAVWAR procedures and SOVT is a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with CS concentration.
7+ years of professional experience in computer design, software development or networks.
US citizen eligible for DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with NAVWAR software procedures on submarines or Navy platforms.
Experience with NAVWAR SOVT Preparation and Execution Guide (SPEG).
Experience with submarine software installations or networked systems on Navy platforms.
Experience with PEO C4I AI processes in lab environments.

Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, and test computer hardware and software.
Provide support for installation of computers and related equipment.
Apply CS/engineering methods to software and systems design, development, testing, and evaluation.
Analyze user needs and design, construct, test, and maintain software or systems including OS, networks, and compilers.
Conduct troubleshooting and solve technical issues.
