Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to join our IT Operations team in the AMERICAS Hub. You will manage Compute operations spanning server, storage, backup, and cloud technologies across a large, global enterprise.

The role requires 5–7 years of Compute operations experience, strong English communication, and hands-on expertise with VMware, Dell/HPE servers, Cisco UCS, Nutanix, and cloud platforms. On-call support and periodic rotation are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–7 years relevant and practical Compute operations experience.
Extensive knowledge of Compute services and infrastructure.
Experience in large/global enterprise IT with ITIL-aligned Service Management.
Proven experience with compute technologies: Dell/HPE servers, Cisco UCS, VMware vCenter, Nutanix, HPE Storage, Nasuni/Talon/Pandora, EMC ECS/Azure/AWS.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all aspects of Compute operations with a primary focus on the designated Hub.
Lead improvements in people, processes, and technology within Compute services.
Guide team members on methods and analytical approaches to complex problems.
Ensure day-to-day activities align with service levels and perform health maintenance.
Plan IMACDs and execute business continuity tests.
Provide on-call support and be willing to rotate shifts.
