Job summary

Baseten is seeking a senior Financial/Corporate Development professional to own the analytical and structuring work behind multi-year compute investments. You will model, diligence, and help negotiate large data center and infrastructure transactions that shape Baseten's growth trajectory.

You will design deal structures, analyze unit economics and TCO, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership, while coordinating with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure or real estate investing, venture or growth investing, management consulting, or a comparable role.
• Hands-on experience structuring, modeling, and executing complex transactions from first look through close.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical and structuring work behind major supply transactions, including multi-year capacity commitments and data center opportunities.
• Build the financial models that underwrite each deal, from unit economics to scenario analysis, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
• Design deal structures balancing cost, flexibility, and risk, including terms, timing, prepayments, and financing options.
• Lead diligence on counterparties and opportunities, coordinating across teams and external advisors.
• Track market pricing, capital flows, and financing trends to inform strategy.
