Job summary

5C Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Sr. Manager, Compute Hardware Sourcing & Operations to build and lead the end-to-end supply chain for GPUs, servers, memory, and other compute hardware powering AI training and inference.

You will own sourcing strategy, supplier governance, material planning, procurement, logistics, and delivery, partnering with hardware engineering to translate deployment schedules into scalable supply plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of supply chain leadership in high-value compute hardware.
• Proven ability to scale supply chain operations in startup/high-growth environments.
• Experience with global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract manufacturing for compute hardware.
• Analytical rigor with ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the compute hardware supply chain across planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and delivery.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection & qualification for OEMs/Contract manufacturers.
• Establish quarterly business reviews and governance with key suppliers.
• Lead material planning, forecasting, and ERP/MRP implementation aligned to deployment schedules.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering on NPI BOM readiness and cost-validated supply plans.
• Own end-to-end logistics and rapid response to schedule changes.
• Identify risks and drive cost initiatives with dashboards and KPIs.
