Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Senior Computational Research Scientist to study gene dysregulation and genome organization in pediatric cancers.

The Abraham Lab collaborates across institutions to develop software for high-throughput sequencing data and to understand regulatory circuitry that drives disease. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience building analysis pipelines, strong coding skills, and a track record of scientific productivity in chromatin and

Qualifications

PhD in quantitative biology or related field encouraged.
Track record of scientific productivity (first-author papers or significant contributions).
Experience with chromatin and expression analysis technologies desired.
Some coding experience to develop and deploy analysis pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead computational research projects with increasing independence.
Collaborate on study design with multiple PIs.
Develop new computational methods for regulatory circuitry in pediatric cancers.
Apply omics pipelines for ChIP-Seq/CUT&RUN/CUT&TAG, ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analyses.
Present findings and draft manuscripts with minimal supervision.
