SSC Services for Education is seeking a Compressor Technician for a full-time position at TAMU, College Station, TX. The role requires 3 years of prior maintenance experience with compressor knowledge and offers a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting is required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and models to learn work layout.
• Must have one of the following licenses or certifications: Journeyman Electrical License, EPA refrigerant certification, Journeyman Plumber License, Carpentry, Welding, Steam and Pipefitting, Masonry or Electronic Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Demonstrates advanced diagnostic skills across multiple equipment types.
• Leads a group of workers on a project and teaches maintenance skills to others.
• Oversees fleet maintenance support and coordinates with outside vendors.
• Reads blueprints and specifications to plan work; maintains logs and conducts inspections.
