Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, the Compounding Technician II works in a clean room, compounding medications at least 50% of the time to ensure safe, accurate operations and adherence to policies and procedures. Join a team that values growth, quality, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with policies and state standards.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded and dosed.
• Calibrate equipment and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
• Train and mentor Compounding Technician I’s.
