Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider seeking a Pharmacy Technician. You will assist pharmacists with compounding, preparation, and processing of medications while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.

The role includes maintaining clean work areas and logging equipment and temperature data. The position emphasizes customer service to internal and external customers, basic math for dosage calculations, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (examples of required functions).

Responsibilities

• Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing: Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with OCH policies & procedures, and in accordance with state regulations & standards.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct dosages of medications.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication related incidents.
