Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider and offers extraordinary career growth. The Compounding Technician I works under a licensed Pharmacist, focusing on safe, accurate medication compounding in a clean room for at least half of the shift.

Responsibilities include preparation, labeling, and dispensing assistance per policies and state laws. Role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state)
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Maintains pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods clean and sanitized.
