Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 10+ years experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years.
- Experience with mechanical manufacturing: machining, welding, joints, fastening.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with fiber-reinforced polymer composites: fiberglass, aramid, carbon prepreg.
- Experience with advanced composite manufacturing: bonding, adhesives, surface prep, ovens/autoclaves.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; project ownership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve composite part fabrication processes.
- Create manufacturing instructions, BOMs, and purchase specifications.
- Support manufacturability reviews and continuous process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with engineering methods and manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Train production personnel on new processes and techniques.
