Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an experienced Acft Component Repair Tech Sr to support our Repair and Overhaul group. Expect leadership in repairs of internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components with strong blueprint and tool know-how.

Responsibilities include supervising repair activities, reading eng docs, and ensuring conformance to FAA Repair Station standards. Travel and on-site duties in a fast-paced, team-focused environment are expected.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; A&P, FCC, or NCATT preferred.
• Able to read blueprints, eng docs, CMP data, CBs and ASCs.
• 6 years experience in sheetmetal and/or hydraulic overhaul, avionics/electrical repair; accredited schooling may offset some reqmts.
• APU removal, install, and service; proficient in shop math and use of dept tools.

Aufgaben

• Mastery of advanced skills, procedures, and equipment for mech and elect assemblies and subassemblies.
• Repair, replace, or fabricate parts per blueprints and manuals with conformance to Repair Station requirements.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional and operational tests.
• Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity with required maintenance data.
• Assist with training Acft Component Repair Techs and support process improvements.
