Job summary

Arm is seeking a Senior Component Engineer for PCB & Board-Level Electronics to own the technical component strategy and lifecycle risk management across our hardware products.

You will collaborate with design, sourcing, and manufacturing to ensure component performance, availability, and cost targets while mitigating single-source exposure through dual- and multi-source strategies. This role spans NPI to end-of-life across multiple sites, with a focus on reliability and supply-chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in component engineering, hardware engineering, or reliability.
• Deep knowledge of board-level components and sourcing strategies.
• Experience qualifying dual-source or multi-source components and managing lifecycle risks.

Responsibilities

• Own component engineering strategy for board-level components from NPI through EOL.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Hardware Engineering to influence part selection.
• Lead evaluation, qualification, and alternate sourcing for components.
• Develop dual- and multi-source strategies for high-risk or long-lead parts.
• Monitor lifecycle status, PCNs, NRND/EOL notices, and supplier changes.
