Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to join the Compliance Technology Team in Asset Management. You will design and deliver high‑quality compliance capabilities across asset classes, collaborating with business and technology partners to meet acceptance criteria and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology related field; compliance/trading/asset management a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in business/systems analysis or product owner in Agile environments.
• Experience in financial services and product knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle or relational databases; familiarity with APIs and data flows.
• Excellent communication and planning skills; autonomous execution and risk management.
• Strong analysis skills across large, dynamic products with distributed teams.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence or similar ALM tools; QA experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the 'why' behind enhancements and gather requirements with acceptance criteria.
• Lead and coordinate definition and estimation of epics and stories with the product manager.
• Create and maintain technical docs, system specs, data flows, and diagrams.
• Drive scenario and data analysis to develop comprehensive test cases and assist in testing.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Support production stability and promote high user satisfaction.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners.
