Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to fortify enterprise system analysis across complex financial services environments. You will document epics, user stories, test cases, and acceptance criteria, using Jira and Confluence to align engineering with business strategy, while delivering dashboards and reports for strategic decisions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor analysts, and shape scalable solutions in a regulated setting with evolving crypto-focused products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience documenting epics, user stories, test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Strong SQL, REST integrations, and data monitoring capabilities.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and XRAY for backlog and test management.
• Ability to work in regulated financial services environments and matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise-level system analysis efforts.
• Gathers requirements through stakeholder interviews and analyzes tech needs.
• Develops recommendations to address complex business needs.
• Defines project scope and full lifecycle plans for complex systems.
• Mentors junior analysts and oversees documentation quality.
• Designs new systems based on requirements and tests strategies.
• Coordinates user acceptance testing and tracks progress.
• Communicates project status to management and stakeholders.
• Partners with teams to evolve standards for analysis processes.
• Supports crisis management and regulatory-aligned risk assessment.
