General Atomics in San Diego is seeking a Senior Contracts/Procurement professional with 15+ years of experience in contracting and compliance. The role requires deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DEAR, CAS, ITAR/EAR and supplier management, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 15+ years of progressive contracting/procurement compliance experience.
• 8+ years subcontract administration experience.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DEAR, CAS, ITAR and/or EAR regulations.
• Experience organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating work to meet milestones.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts in evolving environments.

Responsabilités

• Review pre- and post-award procurement and subcontract documentation for compliance.
• Analyze data and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement and report findings.
• Develop, implement and audit policies, procedures and documentation.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Represent the organization as a prime consultant and external spokesperson.
• May present internally or publicly and provide direction to staff.
