Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Compliance Specialist III to monitor and support complex regulatory, risk, and legal matters across the bank. You will advise lines of business on policies, processes, and projects, perform testing, review client complaints, and manage data for reporting purposes.

You will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to implement the Compliance Management System, interpret laws, and ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years banking related experience with a minimum of 2 years of banking compliance experience.
• High oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• CRCM preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with the Chief Compliance Officer and business line management to implement the Compliance Management System and Program.
• Review and resolve inconsistencies in loan data and improve accuracy of HMDA data reporting.
• Review bank policies and procedures related to the compliance risk management framework.
• Determine the impact of laws and regulations on the line of business.
• Develop and refine monitoring and testing reviews; lead cross-functional projects with strategic impact.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews and educate associates to build risk awareness within the organization.
