Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Career Navigator III to oversee participants and program compliance within specialized programs. You will ensure adherence to policies and procedures and support the assigned program.

Responsibilities include reviewing eligibility, providing technical guidance to staff and partners, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires travel across the Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe, and Alleghany counties and a preferred bachelor’s

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Understanding of Goodwill’s brand and brand awareness.
• Travel up to 50% within service counties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIOA program activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct file reviews and monitoring visits to assess program performance and documentation accuracy.
• Provide technical assistance and compliance guidance to workforce development staff and partners.
• Review eligibility determinations, case management records, and supportive service documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify compliance risks and develop action plans to address findings and improve program compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of WIOA regulations, guidance, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze program data and performance metrics to ensure data integrity and support regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership, service providers, and workforce partners to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Prepare compliance reports, monitoring summaries, and recommendations for management review.
• Utilize NCWorks database to ensure program compliance.
