Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, political science, psychology, social work, business administration or related field with 1 year investigative experience.
• High school diploma with 3 years investigative/compliance experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Compliance Investigator I in Nevada State service.

Responsibilities

• Receive complaints and determine possible program violations.
• Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and agencies to gather information.
• Prepare forms, notices and respond to parties involved in violations.
• Gather evidence and analyze data to develop case trends.
• Develop case files, logs and final reports for potential litigation or sanctions.
• Coordinate informal resolutions and monitor adherence to agreements.
• Prepare investigative reports and testify as required.
