Magnet Forensics is seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead product export classification and regulatory compliance efforts. This role blends deep export controls knowledge with technical awareness of computer engineering, cryptography, and digital forensics.

You will collaborate with product management and engineering to classify products under EAR/ITAR, prepare filings, and help shape governance processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (see above).
• 5–7+ years of export controls or regulatory compliance experience with advanced tech products.
• Demonstrated experience classifying software, encryption, cybersecurity, or digital forensics tech.
• Direct experience with EAR, ITAR, ECCN, CCATS, BIS licensing, or DDTC licensing.

Aufgaben

• Determine and maintain export classifications for software, hardware, and related services under EAR/ITAR.
• Analyze product functions, encryption features, and cryptanalytic capabilities for classification needs.
• Prepare ECCN determinations, CCATS, and related documentation.
• Assess ITAR jurisdiction and conduct USML analyses where appropriate.
• Maintain export classification databases across product lines and versions.
• Coordinate with legal, BIS, and DDTC; support regulatory inquiries and audits.
