Job summary

Hydra Host, a fast-growing cloud and data services company, seeks a Senior Compliance Counsel to lead the global compliance program. You will own privacy and AML/BSA initiatives, design risk-based policies, and partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Product to embed compliance across the business.

The role offers senior leadership exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape a scaling compliance function for a technology company operating remotely across the United States.

Qualifications

• J.D. held and active bar license in good standing in the United States.
• Experience leading complex compliance programs (privacy, AML/BSA, export controls, govt contracting, etc.).
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy program design and governance.
• Oversee BSA/AML program including CDD/EDD, monitoring, SARs where applicable.
• Manage cross-functional regulatory initiatives and policy training.
• Build scalable compliance policies and monitoring across product, eng, and finance.
• Provide governance and mentoring to the compliance team.
