Brighthouse Financial in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to support AML, Operations Compliance, Regulatory Examinations, and Data Compliance programs within the Legal and Compliance organization. You will help strengthen privacy, data governance, cybersecurity, and AI compliance while partnering with business, technology, legal, and operations to manage regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related concentrations encouraged.
• 4+ years in the financial services industry (insurance preferred).
• 2+ years of compliance experience (privacy/data compliance preferred).
• Experience interpreting laws and regulations a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, mitigate, and report privacy incidents to the legal team.
• Conduct AML analysis and enhanced due diligence; file SARs when necessary.
• Support data rights requests, including access, deletion, and opt-out.
• Maintain privacy notices and cookie banners reflecting current regulations.
• Coordinate metrics for AML, Privacy, and regulatory examinations.
