Job summary

Cala Health in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Manager, Compliance and Contracts to lead the management of Durable Medical Equipment licenses, oversee contracts, and ensure our operations comply with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with the General Counsel and cross-functional teams to implement compliant processes and mitigate risk across sales, R&D, clinical, and operations. This is a full-time exempt role with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree; Paralegal certificate preferred.
• 5+ years corporate paralegal experience.
• Experience in contracts, corporate governance and compliance preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Durable Medical Equipment licenses and CMS enrollment.
• Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs to meet regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain compliance calendars and coordinate responses to auditors and regulators.
• Monitor company procedures and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on new regulations.
• Oversee, manage, and coordinate all aspects of contracts and renewals.
• Identify risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies; support negotiations.
