Job summary

CalOptima Health is seeking a Manager Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for the Covered California program. The role sits in the Office of Compliance and involves leading regulatory liaison, overseeing filings, and guiding audits with state and federal agencies.

The position supports a partial telework arrangement in California, with in-office presence at the Orange, CA location required a minimum of two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field plus 5 years of experience with regulatory agencies, health plans and/or the health care industry.
• 3 years of compliance experience focused on Covered California within a managed care health plan.
• 3 years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory liaison with Covered California, DMHC and CMS for the Covered California program.
• Monitor regulatory updates and manage regulatory filings and audits.
• Develop and implement process improvements within Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.
