Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; public accounting or professional services preferred.
• Experience with grant management, compliance activities, internal controls or audits.
• Experience with government, tribal, and not-for-profit organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with GAGAS/Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance; CPA/CIA/CGMA/CFE preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support grant compliance monitoring, subrecipient performance, and financial reporting.
• Lead grant compliance reviews and develop actionable findings and recommendations.
• Lead internal control reviews, audits, and operational assessments.
• Develop and enhance policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Conduct interviews, review documentation, and prepare client deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients to strengthen compliance, controls and operations; travel as needed.
