Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required.
• 5–7 years of claims experience, with 1–2 years in complex claims.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims to determine coverage and exposure.
• Resolves claims within authority and advises on case value and strategy.
• Participates in pricing, reserving, and strategy discussions with HO Examining and Examining Management.
• Manages litigated files with defense counsel per established protocols.
• Identifies suspicious claims and third party subrogation exposure.
• Maintains accurate reserves and makes timely reserve recommendations.
• Prepares for and attends mediation or settlement conferences.
