Job summary

Hilton McLean and DoubleTree Crystal City seek a Complex Senior Sales Manager to lead group sales, manage relationships, and drive business across meetings and events. You will serve as the key contact for clients, coordinate site visits and proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure business that aligns with hotel revenue goals.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-department collaboration, and team leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences and measurable performance

Qualifications

• Represent the hotels to prospective clients: primary contact for group rooms, meeting space, and food & beverage services.
• Drive new business opportunities: respond to inquiries, initiate outreach, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle: conduct site visits, negotiate contracts, prepare proposals and service accounts.
• Develop strategic sales plans: create and execute strategies to meet revenue and room-night goals.
• Analyze sales performance: evaluate reports and identify opportunities to improve conversion and competitiveness.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure satisfaction and fulfil contracted services.
• Supervise and develop team members, monitor performance, and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotels to prospective clients as the primary contact for group rooms, meeting space, and F&B services.
• Drive new business opportunities by responding to inquiries, initiating outreach, qualifying leads, and soliciting clients.
• Lead the full sales cycle: site visits, client entertainment, proposals, rate determinations, contract negotiations, and account servicing.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and room-night targets.
• Analyze performance to identify lost business and improve conversion.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver contracted services and uphold client satisfaction.
• Mentor and supervise the sales team, monitoring performance and fostering a productive environment.
