Job summary

Arch is seeking an experienced senior claims professional to oversee large exposure general/auto liability and trucking claims, including TPA coordination. The role emphasizes technical claim handling, budgeted litigation strategies and strong customer service.

Candidates should have a Law degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years in commercial liability claims, and solid negotiation and analytic skills. Travel up to 10% may be required. This is a hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA.

Qualifications

• Education: JD preferred; 10+ years handling complex general/auto liability claims.
• Experience handling large exposure claims or insurance defense/coverage in a law firm.
• Maintains required state adjustor licenses.

Responsibilities

• Actively managing and overseeing large exposure and complex liability and trucking claims.
• Deliver technical claim handling/oversight and support Arch business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with TPA team, CAMs and other claim professionals on resolutions.
• Work with underwriters, Legal and other functions to ensure timely communication.
• Conduct coverage analysis, indemnity reserving and litigation management.
• Maintain claim file documentation, coding and diary management.
• Assist with litigation/coverage strategies and budgets with defense counsel.
• Analyze and approve legal bills according to strategy and budgets.
• Attend mediations, trials, and meetings; maintain licenses; TPA oversight meetings.
