Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced claims professional to oversee large exposure general/auto liability and trucking claims, direct handled by TPAs. The role requires collaboration with CAMs, underwriters and Legal to ensure optimal outcomes and proactive risk management.

The position emphasizes exceptional client service, detailed analysis, and effective strategy development within Arch Claims’ procedures. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate preferred and US licensure desired.
• Minimum of 10 years commercial general/auto liability claim handling experience, including complexity and large exposure.
• Experience or background in insurance defense/coverage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading claim handling, oversight and customer service.
• Collaborate with TPA teams, CAMs and other claim professionals on resolution strategies.
• Coordinate with underwriters, Legal, Operations and Arch functions for timely communication.
• Maintain effective and timely communication with insureds and brokers.
• Perform coverage analysis, liability and damage evaluation, reserving and settlements.
• Document claim files with proper coding and diary management.
• Work with defense and coverage counsel on litigation/coverage strategies and budgets.
• Provide timely claim reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Attend mediations, trials and meetings as required.
• Maintain state adjuster licenses and oversee TPA engagement.
