Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an experienced claims professional to oversee large exposure and complex general/auto liability and trucking claims.

The role involves direct handling through TPAs, collaboration with CAMs and underwriters, and coordination with Legal and Operations to drive optimal claim outcomes. You will manage reserving, settlements, and litigation strategies, while maintaining strong customer service and timely communications with insureds and brokers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years commercial general/auto liability claim handling experience.
• Experience with complex and large-exposure claims.
• Maintains required state adjustor licenses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large exposure and complex liability and trucking claims.
• Collaborate with TPA teams and Arch CAMs to implement resolution strategies.
• Coordinate with underwriters, Legal, Operations, and other Arch functions for timely communication.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to insureds and brokers.
• Manage indemnity, expense reserving, and settlements within authority.
• Document claims files and maintain diaries; ensure proper coding.
• Engage defense/coverage counsel for litigation/coverage strategies.
• Attend mediations, trials, and other proceedings as needed.
• Provide training to TPA staff and conduct regular reviews and audits.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
