CNA Insurance is seeking a Complex Claims Consultant in the Financial Lines Claims team. The role focuses on high severity D&O and E&O claims issued to Public Companies and large financial institutions, requiring sophisticated coverage analyses and settlements.

The ideal candidate will review coverage, assess liability and damages, secure information, negotiate settlements, and manage a multi-million dollar claims portfolio with a collaborative approach with counsel and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Typically six years of relevant experience in professional liability claim handling or law firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages highly complex litigated claims with large exposures within authority limits.
• Develops and implements claim resolution strategies and settlements.
• Reviews coverage, estimates reserves and coordinates with coverage counsel.
• Mentors junior staff and maintains regulatory compliance.
