Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in completion engineering.
• Recent completions role with Permian operator experience a plus.
• Field operations experience.
• Service Company experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new completions on all wells across the Permian Basin.
• Must have expertise in fracturing technology and practice, wireline and coiled tubing procedures.
• Field time to ensure procedures are properly executed and issues are addressed.
• Well designs for horizontal wells.
• Knowledge of drill string, casing and cementing designs.
• Prepare operational plans for proposed wells.
• Ensure fracturing activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Write and review job procedures and recommendations.
• Participate in field reviews, optimization studies, and gather local knowledge/experience.
• Cost estimates and AFE preparation.
• Interface with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Field supervision: field time is necessary.
