The Senior Completion Engineer at Caturus in Houston will apply modern completion techniques and field experience to boost well performance, optimize completions, and improve economic returns while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with drilling, production, reservoir and field teams to design and execute efficient completion and drill-out programs, develop procedures, analyze data, and manage costs within budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of experience in completion/drilling operations.
• Experience with coil tubing, snubbing or drill-out operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize well performance.
• Design and optimize completion and drill-out programs for efficiency.
• Apply modeling to evaluate performance and select equipment.
• Analyze data and field results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop internal completion procedures and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot field issues and minimize downtime.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and industry standards.
• Generate AFEs and forecast costs; manage budgets.
• Develop RFPs and evaluate pricing for completions.
• Lead continuous improvement with new tech and trials.
• Promote safety programs and culture.
• Work with data teams to monitor KPIs and data quality.
