Job summary

The Roar is seeking a Principal compensation consultant to lead large-scale project delivery, coach teams, and solve complex compensation challenges. You will partner with senior management and HR leaders to craft strategies that attract, retain, and motivate talent.

Responsibilities include directing analyses, shaping compensation programs, advising on pay strategy and job architecture, and driving business development while leveraging AI-enabled tools for enhanced delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of compensation consulting or related HR advisory experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and client engagements.
• Deep knowledge of compensation strategy, incentive design, analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong client relationship management with executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intellectual curiosity and proactive coaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams.
• Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs addressing attraction and retention needs.
• Provide consulting on pay strategy, job architecture, and digital activation of designs.
• Thrive in an AI/tech-enabled tools environment.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and maintain strong relationships.
• Guide junior team members and ensure quality deliverables.
• Generate revenue by developing new client relationships and cross-selling opportunities.
