Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a senior compensation professional to lead core compensation programs, including benchmarking, surveys, and pay structure management. The role partners with business leaders and HR to translate strategy into guidance and oversee Year End Comp projects.

The ideal candidate combines deep compensation expertise with consultative influence across stakeholders, supporting executive compensation and compensation planning cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with practical compensation experience.
• 6+ years of progressive compensation experience including benchmarking, salary structures, and job leveling or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience leading survey participation and market pricing processes.
• Experience building or maintaining job architecture / leveling frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead market benchmarking, benchmarking surveys, and data-driven pay recommendations.
• Design, maintain salary structures, pay grades, and geographic differentials.
• Lead job evaluation and leveling for new and existing roles.
• Advise on compensation data accuracy within HR systems (e.g., Workday).
• Support annual compensation planning cycles and act as end-to-end project lead for Workday Advance Compensation.
