Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. in Plano is seeking a Senior Compensation professional to lead core compensation programs, benchmarking, survey participation, pay structure maintenance, and job leveling.

This role partners with a designated line of business and HR partners to translate compensation strategy into practical guidance for leaders. The ideal candidate combines strong compensation expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and to drive end-to-end compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including benchmarking, salary structures, and job leveling; or 4+ years with Master's.
• Experience leading survey participation and market pricing processes.
• Experience building or maintaining job architecture / leveling frameworks.
• Strong Excel/analytical skills; experience with HRIS platforms (Workday) and survey tools (Radford, Mercer).
• Excellent communication and consulting skills; ability to explain compensation concepts to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation benchmarking and survey participation.
• Design, build, and maintain salary structures, pay grades, and geographic differentials.
• Lead job evaluation and leveling for new and existing roles.
• Manage End-to-end Workday Advance Compensation process from planning to implementation.
• Partner with HRBPs and business leaders on offers, promotions and pay decisions.
