Job summary

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Senior Compensation Consultant for a hybrid opportunity in Chicago, Illinois. This senior consulting role combines compensation strategy, complex client engagement leadership, large-scale project delivery, team guidance and revenue-generating client development.

The consultant will partner with senior management and HR leaders to develop compensation strategies and programs designed to support attraction, retention and motivation of talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years of compensation consulting or related HR advisory experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
• Deep knowledge of compensation strategy and incentive plan design.
• Strong client relationship-management skills with executive exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop compensation strategies, philosophies and programs addressing attraction and retention needs.
• Advise senior management on compensation strategy, structure and competitiveness.
• Lead large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure quality deliverables.
• Generate revenue by developing new client relationships.
• Apply analytics and technology-enabled solutions to recommendations.
