Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc is seeking a Compensation & Benefits professional to design, administer, and optimize our compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with ERISA, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, EPA, INA and related laws.

The role analyzes positions, maintains job description inventory, supports benefits education, enrollment, and utilization, and coordinates communications with employees and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, general business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect sensitive company and employee information at all times.
• Evaluate positions to determine appropriate job classification values and market reference ranges.
• Manage the Annual Compensation Review process to ensure policy compliance and regulatory alignment.
• Draft and coordinate employee communications about compensation, benefits, and retirement savings programs.
• Respond to complex employee benefit issues and coordinate with brokers and providers.
• Liaise between HR, benefits brokers, and third‑party providers for plan maintenance.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain compensation and benefit plans and data feeds to vendors.
• Research industry trends and regulatory developments related to compensation and benefits.
• Review benefit utilization and retirement plan participation.
• Assist in development and delivery of employee education about benefits.
• Administer employee insurance and savings plans including 401(k) and other programs.
• Advise employees on changes related to eligibility, coverage, and plan provisions.
• Benchmark compensation and benefits plans against competitors and implement improvements.
• Ensure timely employer contributions and payroll deductions with carriers and plan administrators.
• Complete records and reports required by federal/state rules and policies.
