Job summary

Vast in Long Beach seeks a Senior Compensation Analyst to partner with business leaders and People Partners on compensation philosophy, market data, internal equity, and pay decisions. This is a full-time, exempt role based in our Long Beach office.

You will lead merit increases, promotions, equity planning, and budgeting analyses; participate in annual surveys; and ensure policy compliance while enabling strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Strong knowledge of salary structures, market pricing, and job evaluation.
• Experience with large data analysis and presenting business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on compensation strategy, pay decisions, and policies.
• Lead merit increases, promotions, equity planning, and budgeting analyses.
• Review salary offers and internal mobility, ensuring equity and policy compliance.
• Develop data-driven insights to influence compensation decisions.
