As the leading end-to-end investment platform for single-family rental homes (SFR), our mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost effective, and simple. We successfully merge our passion for helping investors build wealth through real estate with cutting edge technology that transforms the way they do it.

Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors). In 2025, Roofstock took an ownership stake in Casago (short-term rental management services), expanding our platform to support both long-term and short-term rental investment services.

About The Team

  • Partner with T&C Strategic Initiatives to support the annual compensation review cycle
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on compensation for new hires, promotions, and internal mobility
  • Assist with the development of compensation policies, guidelines, and training for managers
  • Maintain compensation-related systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making by leadership
  • Stay up to date on trends, legislation, and best practices in compensation and total rewards
  • Administer and manage equity via our equity management system (Carta)
  • Assess roles and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience as an analyst dealing directly with compensation and equity startup or tech experience is a big plus
  • Experience with tools like Radford, Pave, Carta
