Job Overview

As a Compensation Analyst III for GEICO, you will manage the administration of base salary compensation, job evaluations, market pricing, and salary structure. You will support the administration of year-end compensation and collaborate with the Compensation Business Partner for Corporate functions, acting as a strategic partner between the compensation team and business units. This role offers leadership opportunities and the chance to develop, analyze, and recommend compensation strategies to address organizational issues creatively and effectively. Ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and policies is also key.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and present reports on job and compensation analysis.
  2. Gather data from market surveys and analyze results using spreadsheets and data analysis techniques.
  3. Support the Compensation Business Partner in job evaluations, salary reviews, and other business needs.
  4. Lead project planning for initiatives like salary schedule reviews, including change management.
  5. Benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive salary ranges.
  6. Advise HR and management on salary administration, job coding, pay regulations, and policies.
  7. Conduct comprehensive department job and compensation reviews.
  8. Propose job architecture structures and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  9. Communicate effectively with senior leaders on compensation matters and prioritize multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of experience in compensation analysis.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  3. Proficiency in Excel; experience with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation preferred.
  4. Adherence to GEICO’s Code of Conduct and policies.
  5. Reliable attendance to perform job functions and collaborate effectively.
Additional Details

Salary Range: $91,225 - $141,450 annually, with final offers based on multiple factors including experience, education, and location.
