Job Summary

Equinix seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Global Compensation team. This role will be crucial in ensuring our compensation programs are competitive, well-governed, and aligned with our Total Rewards Strategy and Compensation Philosophy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compensation principles, analytical skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making, with an aptitude for automating and enhancing compensation processes through technology.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of our compensation programs, including base pay, supplemental pay, short-term, and long-term incentives. The primary focus will be on benchmarking base pay, with occasional focus on other areas.
  2. Manage and optimize our compensation benchmarking software (BetterComp), ensuring data integrity, efficient processes, and accurate survey data, job matching, market pricing, and compensation structures.
  3. Research market trends and best practices in compensation to inform leadership and recommend optimal program designs.
  4. Model the financial impact of compensation program changes to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key compensation metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership.
  6. Monitor legislation affecting compensation policies to ensure compliance.
  7. Collaborate with other functions within the People Team (Recruiting, Workforce Analytics, HR Systems) to support compensation initiatives.
  8. Participate in designing and deploying the company's annual compensation planning processes, including salary reviews, bonuses, and stock awards.

Qualifications

  1. Expertise in key compensation areas.
  2. Experience designing and implementing global compensation programs.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
  4. Advanced Excel skills; Power Query experience is a plus.
  5. Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  6. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is advantageous.
  7. 5+ years of experience in Compensation preferred.
