Responsibilities
Performs the highest level of compensation support through design, analytics, and execution of new and existing pay program(s) and practices. Through the use of a data-driven approach, may use data modeling and consultative compensation services such as: designs pay program(s) and practices to meet the organization’s needs, creates business processes to bring program(s) and practices into operation, collaboratively completes job evaluations/market pricing, large scale department reorganizations, and equity reviews. May conduct scenario analysis and simulations to evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive compensation analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness across assigned client groups in clinical and non-clinical roles. Evaluate job descriptions and perform job evaluations to determine appropriate classification and salary levels.
- Design, implement, and maintain compensation structures (salary ranges) that are aligned with organizational goals and healthcare industry standards.
- Partner and consult with HR Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance on job offers, promotions, and organizational changes.
- Participates in projects and leads large scale project work. Uses advanced Excel skills to perform and present complex compensation data analytics.
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Develop and deliver compensation-related training and communication materials for HR and leadership teams.
- May develop and maintain data models that support strategic decision-making and business planning. Translates complex business problems into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions. May involve cleaning, transforming, automating and validating large datasets. May create data visualizations through dashboards, reports, and presentations using tools like PowerBI.
- May support executive compensation and/or international compensation initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field. Five years of related experience required. Compensation specific experience and certification preferred.
