Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Territory Representative to manage key veterinary accounts across The Woodlands, Spring, Huntsville, and Conroe, TX. You will tailor discussions to client needs, build strategic plans, and drive sales growth within the Animal Health portfolio.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, travel domestically as required, and contribute to a customer-centric business model that emphasizes scientific health solutions for animal care.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Animal Health portfolio to customers with relevance to their needs.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and meet with decision-makers.
• Develop customer strategy and account plans to drive opportunities and sales.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Partners to grow key accounts.
• Share knowledge within region to foster growth and development.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget.
