Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Animal Health division in Jacksonville, FL. You will manage a portfolio, build relationships with practice owners, managers and key staff, and drive sales opportunities across the territory.

This role requires strong presentation skills, strategic planning, and the ability to travel up to 50% while working remotely as needed. A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sales or a HS diploma with 10+ years is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least ten (10) years of sales or equivalent experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years of sales experience

Responsibilities

• Communicates about our product portfolio and tailors discussions to customer needs.
• Primary point of contact for assigned customers and meets with key decision makers to understand practice structure and needs.
• Develops territory and account plans and collaborates with partners to drive sales growth across Animal Health products and services.
• Manages monthly sales results and expenses within budget guidelines.
• Travels as required and delivers education and training to accounts.
