Job summary

The City of Buena Park’s Community Services Department seeks a Senior Community Services Leader to manage a diverse recreation program and oversee facility rentals at the Ehlers Event Center/Senior Center. Flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunity to lead programs and support special events at City venues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizing, conducting and supervising recreation programs.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise part-time and volunteer staff.
• Coordinate facility rentals and events.
