Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Public Administration, Business Administration, Sociology or closely related field is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience coordinating recreation and/or community services programs.
• Must possess a valid California Class C Driver’s License; CPR/First Aid; Fit After Fifty; Work Release certifications within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, supervise, and evaluate recreation services and city-wide activities.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of recreation centers and facilities; ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, and vendor relations; monitor expenditures and revenues.
