Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Community Planner II who will guide planning studies from concept to implementation, develop clear data-driven reports, and translate complex topics into practical solutions.

You will engage with communities, officials, developers, and project partners to build alignment and move projects forward. You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, deepening expertise in land use and communication, while pursuing long-range planning and comprehensive plans for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related field with 4 years of progressive planning experience or equivalent education/experience.
• AICP certification preferred but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of GIS and its planning uses preferred, but not required.
• General knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning studies, land development reviews, and entitlement efforts from concept through implementation.
• Analyze data, develop clear reports, and translate complex topics into actionable solutions.
• Lead presentations, facilitate meetings, and engage with community members, officials, developers, and partners.
• Contribute to long-range planning and comprehensive plans, gaining exposure to diverse project types.
