Job summary

BH Management is seeking a Community Manager II in Denton, TX to oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and financial performance. You will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through strategic marketing, budgeting, and hands-on leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in property management, strong communication, and the ability to travel ~20%. A state leasing license or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management experience.
• Must be able to travel ~20% of the time.
• Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience required.
• State leasing license or ability to obtain license within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect the property to ensure company standards are met and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain resident retention by timely communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance; manage service orders and turnover of vacant units.
• Develop operating budgets with regional managers and monitor expenses and purchasing.
• Prepare weekly/monthly property operation reports (petty cash, variances, leasing, renewals, finances).
• Hire, train, supervise, and mentor staff in line with company policies.
