Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a seasoned Community Manager in Morgan Hill, CA to oversee day-to-day property operations, lead a large team, and drive budgeted financial and occupancy goals. You will ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations while maintaining strong owner and resident relations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of multifamily management experience, lease-up and ownership-transition familiarity, and proven leadership in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates the application of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community, resolve customer complaints and issues, complete financial records, documents, and reports, increase sales revenues, and coordinate the work of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and as a collaborative member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into the development of budget(s) for the property by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely rent collection.
• Approve invoices from vendors and manage communication with owners and clients.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, and late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and service issues.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure safety, cleanliness, and aesthetics.
• Supervise staff, hire and train employees, and manage performance.
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships and provide performance updates.
• Complete accounting and administrative reports.
