Job summary

Cortland is seeking a Senior Community Manager in the Greater Charlotte Area to oversee multiple multimillion-dollar communities. You will lead teams, drive leasing and NOI, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional resident experiences across sites.

This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and strategic execution to align with Cortland standards. You will partner with marketing to boost brand presence and ensure compliance with housing regulations while delivering premium living

Qualifications

• 3+ years of measurable sales leadership success in high-velocity environments such as multifamily, luxury retail, hospitality, timeshare, premium services
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple communities with clarity and purpose
• Drive leasing performance across communities by setting goals and coaching teams
• Implement portfolio-wide sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
• Partner with marketing teams to execute campaigns and maintain a strong social media presence
• Champion a resident-centric experience delivering concierge-level service
• Oversee day-to-day operations with rigor and ensure compliance with policies and laws
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for quality and cost efficiency
• Analyze portfolio metrics and KPIs to identify growth opportunities
